The most basic rule of modding Skyrim is never uninstall a mod during a game. If you have a couple hundred that is certainly going to add minutes. How many savegames do you have? Because the more save games you have, the longer it is going to take. There is another mod in Nexus for that: Syrim Save Cleaner. And it wll stay there, forever recorded in your save. You loot a corpse, drop what you don't want on the ground. Anytime you drop something, move something in game, that is stored in your save game. The other, usually greater contributor to bloat is an accumulation of formIDs. This was a good thing to do because deleting a mod as complex as Vilja is going to leave some serious wreckage in your game. Load the backup and just make that one click. If maybe you clicked something else too, no problem. If you truly did only click FixScriptInstances then that is all it did. Any suggestions would be mod removes orphan scripts, one of two main causes of savegame bloat. I tried 8 different saves I made after the successful uninstall, but all resulted in a CtD after about 30 secs after loading. It found over 200 orphaned scripts, so I used that option and nothing else. Thinking this might be a (small) bloat (Im watching the size increse of my save, still seems reasonable), I thought Id try the cleaner in hopes of reducing the load.
